Ambassadors of Adventure
Ollie (8) and Harry (6) Ferguson are our resident Ambassadors of Adventure. They have undertaken a series of 500 adventures to explore the world around them, whilst having as much fun as possible.
Together with their parents, Ollie and Harry began compiling a list of exciting and whacky adventures, to make sure no day is wasted. Before long, they had devised a 500-point list of activities and challenges for them to undertake before they turn eighteen. And so “Adventure Club” began!
Ollie and Harry embrace the challenges wholeheartedly...and are quick to point out when they have an afternoon free that should be devoted to camping or doing an adventure. The boys record completed adventures on their own Facebook page “The Days are Just Packed," charting the adventures of ‘Pickle and Pipsqueak’. Full of infectious enthusiasm, Ollie and Harry also write a monthly column for the local paper describing their recent exploits and give talks to schools encouraging other kids to get out and do their own adventures.
Described as Britain’s most adventurous children, the boys exploits have had a lot of media attention and have been seen on TV and the news across the world. Both boys were shortlisted for the University of Derby’s Young Adventurer of the Year 2014, at the Buxton Adventure Festival.
